This was the first thing we did in Jan. when we got started. It won't hurt to do it again. We aurge all the members to do what best they can do to reach out to people, as you have suggested the poster there's also email tempelate. Please use them.

IV members can take printouts and post them in indian /ethinic grocery stores in their town. There are several other people who come to these stores and are in the same boat as us. It would help publicize IV and increase the support.
Another idea might be to have 'send to a friend ' feature on the site , so that members can forward useful information or thread to others.

Lets not forget the lesson learned from the last DC rally. We came to a conclusion that unless we strengthen our local state chapters, we won't be successful with these type of rallies. Nothing much has been done to activate the local state chapters. Most of them are as inactive as they were in the past.

We are close to 13,000 members. The total legal- EB community is estimated to be 500,000. Even if we consider 200,000 households, We havent even reached 10% of people affected. This large group 94% of people have no clue what is going on, and how their lives are going to be affected. Please talk to everyone now.

Hi,
I got my skin test done on friday and going to the doctor's place today. If my skin test comes positive(there is some swelling), how long does it take for chest x-ray/results?
Can someone let me know from their experience? Anyway, I can speed this up if it takes a couple of days?

Hi , this is my second post. But I have already contributed for the cause.
My GC was file in June/2003, EB3, non RIR.
No 45-day letter and nothing. Can anybody tell me ,is there a way to contact and get some details and can I refile under perm?
I am in my 9th year of H1-B, which got approved just few days back.

getting DTAp and MMR is understandable as some or all INS doc charge extra for these two.Why would you get it done at county medical center? Beats me.
Who will evaluate the skin test, if it is given in community HC? The community doctor. Will the INS doctor take it as a valid conclusion. Who will do X-ray? The county doctor or INS Doctor? Who will give the x-ray report? The county doctor or INS doctor? Why didn't the INS designate the county medical centers for INS examination?
Let's not be penny wise and pound foolish. Let the INS doctor do the 'full-cycle' TB test and put that straight into I-693.
Currently the scene is pretty bad. I was not late too. I started calling on Thursday itself and could not get anything local. we are driving 170 miles away for an appt next week.
We got Tetanus, MMR and TB done at county health center. Still my TB reading is to be done. But they have agreed to give complete report with DOB and Full name etc. The USCIS civil surgeon's office was OK with us bringing in most of the stuff and the local county health dept also gave us their fax numbers + contact info in case the civil surgeon's office has any questions. So you have to make sure your communication to all locations and documentation is clear..no spelling mistakes etc.
As far as xray evaluation ; wherever you have the TB put they will be the ones who should order for a xray if necessary and they will be ones who read you xray.
In my case we have to go to same county but different health center for xray and we are doing it without them ordering it..

I just have a saving account in India and I used to transfer more than 10 k while I purchase anything back at home. My quest is my money was never there sitting in bank more than a month, do I need to disclose this to IRS?

Yes, as long as sum of all foreign accounts >= US $10,000 at any time. In this case, since one account value exceeds US$ 10,000 value, it does meet the reporting criteria.

It is showing 88 EB-3 INDIA pending application which has PD 2008. The EB3-India (or EB3 in general) wasn't current after July 2007 then what are these applications?
The same applies to EB3-ROW.
Any ideas?
Most likely, these are dependent applications with the primary applicant being current and the dependent having multiple 485s (for e.g. a spouse filing his/her own 485 under EB-3 but also being a dependent on say an EB-1/2 application...)
Or the other explanation could be that these are mis-filed 485s (although technically they should have been rejected and not entered in this queue at all)
But definitely a valid question...

Birth certificate
Copy of passport
Two photos
Medical exam
Employment letter
My I-140 approval notice and I-485 receipt notice.
Mine is employment petition, my 485 is in process.
Do I need to submit I-134? I did not find about this in 485 instructions.
As my kid is below 14 years, do I need to submit biographic form for him?
My wife is in India, never entered into US, I filed my AOS in 2004, I filled my application as Married, and mentioned her name, checked NO for the column are you applying with you. I did mention my son name, and checked YES for the column are you applying with you, but his AOS is not applied because he was in India that time.
Later we applied divorce in India now we are divorced. My kid is with me on H4, Do I need submit divorce decree with kid AOS? Do I need to inform about my divorce to USCIS?
Please advise me.
