Make-up to Go

Everyone has a little bit of make-up they carry around in their bag for those emergency touch ups but mine is a little bit smaller than your average persons because i am super lazy and can never be bothered to touch up my make-up on the go. However since i have started work i have been spending more time out of the house so my make-up needs to last longer which means i have had to start carrying make-up around with me. So recently i have starting to put together a little make-up bag for my bag and now i am ready to let you in on what i carry around with me at all times...

I don't like carrying too much around with me because i don't like my bag being to heavy so i have tried to limit the amount in my portable make-up bag. Firstly and most importantly i carry around products for my contact lenses; yes i am a contact lense wearer and my constant worry is that something will go wrong with them and i will have to immediately take them out so i make sure to have everything with me for emergencies. I do carry around my glasses with me but in a separate case because i only have one pair and i don't want them to break because they are ridiculously expensive for something i have to have.

Next to that is my Boss orange travel perfume, i wouldn't usually have this with me but because i recently went on holiday i still have perfume in there and it goes off quicker than it would in the proper bottle so i am using this rather than my big bottle. I got it in a perfume set for Christmas and i love it, it is so handy and it is great to be able to top up whilst i'm out  and stops me from going into Boots on my lunch break to use their sample perfumes.

Moving on to the permanent lip fixtures that remain in my bag at all time which are MAC Creme Cup lipstick and the Tanya Burr lip gloss in First Date, they are a great combination and can be applied without the use of a mirror which is great on the go. Also there is my new Malin + Goetz lip moisturiser, i recently got this with ELLE magazine which i will speak about in detail in a later post however it is a great travel size so it is handy for my bag and can be easily applied.

Below this is my Soltan SPF which i have with me at all times, if the sun even starts to poke its head out of the cloud i need to immediately apply some SPF and the weather changes so quickly in England that this could happen at any time so i like to carry some around with me just in case.

Next to this looks like some drugs and that's what it is, paracetamol, in case i am in pain whilst i'm out such as when it is that certain time of the month or just generally they are super handy. At the bottom of the picture is my Carex hand gel which is ESSENTIAL i like to clean my hands before i eat and when my hands feel gross when i'm out and about and this is great for that. This is about my 50th bottle of it, i love the aloe vera one, it smells great but next time i might branch out to the Soap & Glory one. The final item is the make-up bag, this used to be my make-up bag but then i bought a new one, this one is quite small but opens up wide which is good to get whatever you want out of it quickly. It was from the Body Shop probably 5 years ago when it was in sale.

So this is my daily make-up bag for my bag and the things that i usually have in it. As well as these items i have in it the lip product i have used that day (if it is not MAC Creme Cup) and a concealer in case i get a pesky spot which happens all to often but i didn't have either of these things so they aren't pictured.

I hope this was useful if you are trying to put together your own little make-up bag for your bag or it has fulfilled your curiosity for what other people have in their little make-up bags.  As this is only a new set up if you can think of anything else i need for my bag please let me know in the comments, thanks
