Summer is hereeee (not that you would know it from this awful weather) so I decided to pick up the Guerlain taint d'ailleur tinted moisturiser to give my face a subtle tanned look. I have heard so many brilliant things about this product that I was convinced I was going to love it.

Guerlain Taint D'ailleur Tinted Moisturiser 01 Blondes |
Now this is SO hard for me to write because I really do love Guerlain products especially there Terracotta bronzes. When using them I do feel rather poooosh and luxurious. Although my bank balance doesn't feel the same way (pricey!).
Guerlain Claim - Sun-kissed Tinted Moisturiser. The first terracotta tinted summer moisturiser that moisturises the skin while also activating and prolonging your natural tan. An amazing texture, part tinted gel and cream that moisturises and softens skin damaged by the summer sun, while protecting it from UVA and UVB rays - SPF 10 / PA++ . Enriched with the Terracotta tan booster complex it intensifies and prolongs your natural tan. Available in 2 matte shades: Blondes and Brunettes.
All skin types
Volume 30 ml.
Sounds AMAZING right!?
I firstly applied the product on my face alone= umpa lumpa. I then thought maybe if I combined the product with my foundation it would tone down the umpa lumpa'ness. At first I didn't mind the look this gave me, then I walked out the house and saw myself with natural lighting & Woow, patchy tangoed girl!
If I have fake tan on my body it doesn't look as bad , my natural skin tone is NC20 and without fake tan I looked far to orange for my liking.
It doesn't give much coverage at all, so if I do choose to use this again I will be mixing it with my foundation.
I feel I need to make this product work for me, but for now I'm just going to wait until I get a summer tan and maybe try again then.
£31.50 from house of Fraser.
Have you tried this product? Do you have any advise on how to make this product work?
